Our Best Answer - When I try to run a Progress Check or Degree Audit, I get an error message.
Degree Audit Error Message
This could be caused by a number of things. In most cases, it simply means that the system is experiencing some temporary difficulties, and you should come back and try again later. However, if you get an error message that contains the text “NO ROOM IN EC TAB TO ADD COURSE,” you have too many courses on your record for the system to evaluate properly. There is no exact number of courses that causes this problem, as it depends on the complexity of your degree program, but it generally only happens to students who have taken over 100 courses. If this is the case, you will need to speak with your advisor for clarification on how your courses apply toward your degree. If, however, you do not have an unusually large number of courses on your record, and you still consistently get an error message when trying to run a Progress Check or Degree Audit, please report the problem to darshelp@sa.ucsb.edu.
