Our Best Answer - Where can I eat on campus?

Food Access at UCSB

There are many places to eat on campus--Dining Commons, UCen Restaurants, Cafes and Convenience Stores, and the AS Food Bank.

  • For students living in the UCSB Residence Halls, the cost of your meal plan is included with your room and board. If you don't live in the Residence Halls, you can still eat in the UCSB Dining Commons via the Off Campus Meal Plan.
  • University Center (UCen) Dining Services has a variety of dining options located in the University Center and around campus. They offer a multitude of cuisine options from food prepared to order in our cafés to grab and go, late night services, and campus catering.
  • The AS Food Bank is an organization that provides fresh, free, and nutritious food as wells as toiletries to the Gaucho community. Led by a group of diverse students who tackle food insecurity on campus, the food bank continually raises awareness on issues surrounding food.
  • For additional resources on Food & Nutrition, please visit the Food Access at UCSB page. There is information on the Gaucho Certified Farmer's Market, Isla Vista Food Co-op, Food Resource map, and more.
