Our Best Answer - How do I access my email?
Accessing Umail
Umail accounts are provided by the University for registered graduates, undergrads, and UCSB Extension Open University students only. Umail is the official student email service used for communication by instructors and University administration. All students are required to activate and maintain their Umail accounts for the duration of their academic career.
To activate your Umail account, create a UCSBnetID using the UCSB Identity Manager. The Identity Manager will walk you through the process.
Once activated, Umail can be accessed from My UCSB and by clicking on the Umail icon. For purposes of logging into Umail, students use their UCSBnetID and Password.
For support and questions regarding Umail, contact the Collaborate Student Support Center.
