Financial Block
If you have a financial block on your student record or BARC account (viewable on the Registration screen in GOLD), more than likely you have an outstanding balance due to the University. Financial blocks will result in the withholding of official transcripts, official degree and enrollment verifications, and diplomas. If left unresolved, they may prevent registration in future quarters.
To resolve a standard Financial Block, please contact the BARC office at barc.info@bfs.ucsb.edu. Visit www.bfs.ucsb.edu/barc for more information.
To resolve a University Center (UCen) Block, please contact the University Center by phone at (805) 893-4097.
