Our Best Answer - What happens to the missing grade on my record?

NG and NR Grades

A “NG” grade means “no grade.”  This means that at the time grades were submitted by the course instructor, a grade was not submitted for you. A “NR” grade means “no record.”  This means that the course instructor did not submit any grades for all of the students in that course.

If you have a No Grade (NG) or No Record (NR) grade on your record, please contact the instructor of the course as soon as possible. If a grade is not assigned by the instructor, it will automatically revert to "F/NP" at the end of the following regular quarter.
