Our Best Answer - What is a New Student Profile?
New Student Profile
New Student Profiles are no longer being created. To see your evaluated coursework/exam scores, go to My UCSB and click on GOLD, then run a Progress Check or Major Progress Check located in your GOLD account under the Academic History tab.
The Progress Check shows how coursework applies to University and General Education requirements (but not major requirements) and reflects all of your transferable work from official transcripts received and evaluated, including Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams. Official scores for exams such as the SAT, ACT, and Analytical Writing Placement Exam will be included if available. It is your responsibility to review your Progress Check immediately and ensure that it is complete and accurate.
If your degree objective or College changes, your General Education (GE) requirements may be affected. For a complete explanation of degree requirements, including your major requirements, please consult the UCSB General Catalog, your College, and Major department.
