Our Best Answer - When do I start paying back my loans?
Repayment for most loans begins after a student graduates, leaves school, or drops below half-time. Repayment for Parent PLUS loans may begin sooner, unless your parent's explicitly choose to defer payments until you are out of school during the loan application process. Specific repayment dates depend on the type of loan you borrowed.
In all cases, you will be notified by your loan servicer(s) when your payments are scheduled to begin.
