Our Best Answer - Are there mandatory classes?

Mandatory Classes

Undergraduate and graduate students may have required courses to complete.

All undergraduate students must complete the General Education requirements appropriate to their college and degree (B.A., B.S., B.F.A., or B.M.) in order to qualify for graduation.  Specific General Education requirements for each college can be found here:

Additionally, an undergraduate student’s Major program will require specific courses to gain admission to the Full Major and/or to complete the Major. Students should refer to the Undergraduate Degree List in the General Catalog for more specific information and requirements.

Course requirements for graduate students vary by department and degree program. Students should refer to the list of Graduate Degrees in the General Catalog or contact their graduate department for more information.
